Each lender will assess your borrowing requirements based on affordability. We will require proof of your income and financial commitments to enable us to access the lenders affordability calculators to advise on the best lender for you.
You will need to complete a confidential questionnaire to understand your requirements. You will need to provide to us with: proof of identification, proof of address, proof of income. If you are self employed or a Company Director this will be the last 2 years tax overviews and SA302’s or tax computations. If you are employed we would like the last 3 months payslips and proof of any bonus income for the last 2 years. We will also ask for details of all financial commitments.
Many lenders will lend to age 70 or sometimes age 75. But this will be dependent on your selected retirement age and proof of retirement income. We will advise on the term once we have assessed your individual circumstances.
