JML (Financial) Associates Ltd is an established Independent Mortgage and General Insurance Advisers firm based in Cobham, Surrey. The practice was set up in 2001 and is owned by Michelle Ford, a non-selling Director of the Company, and Daniel Ford who is an experienced and qualified adviser with years of industry experience.

Michelle Ford Managing Director
Michelle has passed the Diploma in Financial Planning, Certificate in Advance Mortgage Advice and Certificate in Equity Release. She has been in the industry since 1989 and is a non selling partner in the business.
Daniel Ford MD & Independent Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser
Daniel has passed The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice and Certificate in Equity Release. He has been in the industry since 2004 and can advise on Mortgages, Equity Release mortgages, Life protection and General Insurance.
Kate Keeling Practice Manager
Kate worked for JML back in 2002 and returned to work at JML in 2015. Kate supports the Directors and runs the Practice.
Paige Barber Sales Support
Paige joined JML in 2019. Her main responsibility is to provide administration support to the practice and our clients.
For residential and Buy to Let mortagages
For residential mortgage advice you can choose how we are paid: pay a fee which is usually 0.5% of the loan amount and we will refund any commission paid to us by the lender, or we can accept commission from the lender and no fee will be charged, subject to a minimum of £500. For example, on a £100,000 mortgage our fee would be £500. We also charge a £125 administration fee upon application which is non-refundable.
Portfolio Buy to Let mortgages
For Buy to Let mortgage advice you can choose how we are paid: pay a fee which is usually 0.65% of the loan amount and we will refund any commission paid to us by the lender, or we can accept commission from the lender and no fee will be charged, subject to a minimum of £650. For example, on a £100,000 mortgage our fee would be £650. We also charge a £225 administration fee upon application which is non-refundable
For equity release mortgages
For residential mortgage advice you can choose how we are paid: pay a fee which is usually 2% of the loan amount and we will refund any commission paid to us by the lender, or we can accept commission from the lender and no fee will be charged, subject to a minimum of £1,000. For example, on a £100,000 mortgage our fee would be £2,000. We also charge a £395 administration fee upon application which is non-refundable
