With many lenders not even visiting the property, you may quite wisely decide to have your own independent survey carried out. We work with truly independent valuers and surveyors, with national postcode coverage.
This is a new innovative product, which enables you to see the condition of your prospective purchase, sent to you on the day it is carried out. It does not carry a value so it has no bearing on your mortgage offer. The valuer will rate 18 difference areas of the property from 1-10 and comment on the reason for the specific rating.
This is suitable for traditional homes, properties under 100 years old, not covered by a NHBC certificate and is of standard construction with no extensions or large renovations.

A building survey is suitable for all residential properties and provides an in depth, full picture of their construction and condition, including the roof, chimneys, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows and asbestos checks.
Please note: A Building Survey is not a Structural Engineer Report
